Scroll down for the holiday programme
We have a new term format this year. This allows for more focused teaching of age groups with a continuity of effort and resources for the term’s genre.
- Term 2 is Painting & Drawing (Tues/Wed: 5-8 yrs; Thurs: 9-12 yrs) 6 weeks, 3:30-5:15pm
- Term 3 is Textile Art
- Term 4 is Printmaking
- Term 1 (2025) is Clay Play
As you can see the days correspond to age groups (5-8 years and 9-12 years). If you want your family to be in the same class, this is a possibility, so please phone me.
Terms will now run for 6 weeks (with 15 minutes extra each session e.g. 3:30 – 5.15pm). This is more practical for our art projects and represents the same hours total as the original 7-week term.

Drawing & Painting…
…with mixed media – mixing pencil, chalk, crayon, pastel, paint and dye.
For example: painting wild animals or a landscape, and learning to add shadow and texture with brushstrokes, and mixing to match the colours that you see, with a variety of media.
The classes explore line work, shape, size, shading & texture, perspective, and drawing from real objects and imagination. This naturally develops spatial awareness and fine-motor skills.
